Artist Judith Selby Lang, designed a replica of a famous Japanese Garden, Ryoan-ji. The installation was made out of all recycled plastic. She was making a statement about the non-biodegradability of plastic and the problems caused by single-use plastic bags. It was exhibited in front of San Francisco City Hall in 2007.
